RARE
vintage perfume Vigny Beau Catcher sealed in box!
Vigny
introduced this fragrance in 1942. The front label on
the 3-1/2"-tall box reads Beau Catcher de Vigny,
and in fine print below says "Vigny, New York, NY.
Distrib's." The seal on the bottom of the box reads:
Vigny No. 314, 5/16 oz. net, Made in U.S.A. Aside from
a slight scratch on the top of the package wrapping, the
labels and the box itself are in very good condition--sealed
and unopened. Should you choose to open the package, it
is my understanding that the bottle within looks like
the one pictured (from p. 98 of Ball & Torem, Commercial
Fragrance Bottles). ID=DP132

CABOCHARD

and inspired by Madame Gres trip to India, Cabochard,
is as its name indicates a "charmingly persistent"
fragrance. Indian by inspiration, but Parisian in demeanor,
Cabochard is an enigmatic scent, a green woody-mossy.

in the middle of the bottom and has a pretty embossed
gold tassel down the front and a bakelite lid. Marked
Eau de Toilette Chypre de Coty on the front. The back
of the bottle is stamped "Demonstration Bottle
Not to be sold". Bottle is in great shape. Looks
to be about 3 oz, it dosn't say. The bottle is stamped
on the bottom with the Coty name. No Box. ID=DP200
