Blue
Carnation perfume is a spicy-floral (think carnations,
vanilla, cloves, and bay rum) that is outstandingly great
smelling and much sought-after by antique perfume aficionados
and is considered by experts to be by far the greatest
soliflore carnation perfume ever made. Antique because
it was created in 1937 and hasn't been made since the
mid-sixties (?); a fact that is incomprehensible to those

rare collector’s bottle of Champagne by Yves Saint
Laurent is a limited item since the company no longer
produces it under this name. Instead, you will now find
it sold under the re-named Yvresse to avoid the copyright
dispute for the original name Champagne by Caron.
"From
Parisian couturier Yves Saint Laurent comes Champagne,
a sparkling concoction of fruits and florals. Champagne
is corked in a bubbly flacon accented by hammered gold
and corkwire. Hints of nectarine, mint, and vetiver
enhance the vivid bouquet. The Yves Saint Laurent company
reports that a French court ruled that Champagne is
a name reserved for wine and can't be used for perfume.
As a result, the fragrance is now marketed under the

London, and Montreal. Contains 6 1/4 ounce vials and 17
nips. Scents are Gardenia, Tapestry (2), Carnation, White
Lilac and Yram. The White Lilac looks about half gone.
One nip is also missing. The box is 7 1/4 by 4 3/4 inches.

Prince Matchabelli Figural Soap Perfume Cologne
This
is a unopened figural bar of soup that is in the original
plastic box. The soap was part of a very large collection
of soaps that took a lifetime to collect. This piece
is shaped like a crown and on the top of the packaging
it says simply Prince Matchabelli. Prince Matchabelli
is a very popular perfume or cologne and this soap still
smells very strong with the scent. The piece measures
about 5" tall, so this is a large bar of soap.
Soap is in excellent condition, but the box is a little
bent out of shape. Nice old item! Was probably some
kind of promotional giveaway or something.

fragrances. It is made of natural or synthetic fragrant
oil extracts diluted in water or high-grade alcohol.
The perfume is a unique garland of rose, jasmine, and
narcissus and blended with a sensual, musky base of
patchouli and sandalwood, with the addition of sweet
vanilla and amber makes more lively of its spicy, hearty
aroma, which catches the essence of aristocrat Parisian
nightlife. Its torso-shaped bottle created quite a stir
in 1937. The hourglass bottle was fashioned after the
pleasure giving curves of actress Mae West.

is the original scent with over half of its contents
originall 4oz, over 2 oz left in collectible bottle
